Q: How do I book?

A: Ready to book? Great! Please email info@piqueniqueballarat.com.au with the following details: date, location, package, and number of guests and we will confirm availability. If your preferred date is available, we will send you a booking form to complete and instructions on how to pay the $100 deposit. Full payment is required one week before your event. 

Q: Where can you set up a picnic?

A: We can set up a picnic anywhere within 20kms of Ballarat, whether it be a public space (park) or a private location (your backyard). For picnics outside of this area, please email info@piqueniqueballarat.com.au for a quote. 

Q: Does the picnic setup include food and drinks?

A: No, our picnics do not include food, drinks or ice. This gives you the flexibility to serve your guests the food that you enjoy. We are more than happy to suggest catering options. 

Q: Do I require a permit for a public picnic?

A: Please contact the Ballarat City Council to check if you require a permit to host your event. The majority of events do not require a permit. Pique-Nique Ballarat are unable to supply or apply for a permit on your behalf. 

Q: Do I need to pay a bond?

A: Yes, all bookings require a $100 Bond that is fully refundable at the end of your picnic, providing all items are returned intact. 

Q: What if it rains?

A: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds due to poor weather. However, we will try to make every effort to relocate your picnic to a sheltered/indoor area. 

Q: How long will my picnic last?

A: You will have 4 hours to enjoy your picnic. If you would like a longer picnic, we will happily accommodate, if availability permits. Please note fees apply. 

Q: Do you offer Gift Vouchers?

A: Absolutely! Gift vouchers are available for any value over $50. You will receive a physical gift certificate to give to the recipient. Please email us to purchase.
